CBSE BOARD CLASS 12TH PRACTICAL EXAM 2021 UPDATE

The new date sheet for the CBSE class 12 practical exams, which was due to be held in March 2021, will be re-released in June and will be updated accordingly.

CBSE Board Exams 2021: In view of the growing cases of coronavirus in the country, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) earlier this month canceled the 10th board exams and postponed the 12th board exams. Following the decision from the CBSE, many state boards have also postponed or canceled their exams. In addition, ICSE class 10 board exams have also been canceled due to the worsening state of COVID-19 and the option for students to appear later has been withdrawn. However, the Council for The Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has announced that 10th graders will have the opportunity to write the exams later or be tested on the basis of a different procedure.

New CBSE Class 12 Date Sheet: Immediately after postponing the CBSE Class 12 exams, Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank said the new CBSE Grade 12 board test date would come out after June 1. In saying that, the Minister of Education confirmed that students will be given at least 15 days’ notice before the start of the class 12th board exams 2021. Students should note that the revised CBSE class 12 or the new 2021 date for Arts, Science, and Commerce will be released in June, and smart course dates will be updated accordingly.

CBSE-Based Training Questions in Class 9 to 12: According to a recent announcement from CBSE, the board will now test Class 9 to 12 students on the basis of the application of the concepts “in real life or in unusual situations”. Known as competency-based questions, CBSE student questions will include multiple-choice questions (MCQs), case-based questions, and integrated source questions. In each review, for Class 9 and 10, CBSE has decided to introduce a minimum of 30 percent skills-based questions in the form of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), case-based questions, basic integrated questions, etc. The cent of the questions will be the intended type and the remaining 50 percent will be short and long type questions, such as the existing pattern. According to the announcement, the CBSE-based education project aims to transform the existing learning-based learning model as outlined in the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 over the next two to three years. Notably, the CBSE on March 24 also announced a framework for assessment based on Science, Mathematics, and English skills.

Temporary Admission to Class 12: In the meantime, many CBSE schools across the country have begun their process of enrolling Class XI students and enrolling students temporarily. Their admission will be finalized on the basis of the marks they receive in their Class X exams. Some Noida schools have also begun the temporary admission of Class 10 students who failed to write their CBSE exams this year. The move from schools comes after the CBSE canceled Class 10 board exams following an increase in Covid-19 cases. Some of the schools have also started advising students to help them choose their Class 11 streams. They said classes would start from the first week of May.
